Women With Wisdom brought relief
WWW donated food, clothes, mattresses, blankets, pots, and even prepared meals to the family of 25.
JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Women With Wisdom (WWW) restored hope to Turffontein residents, who lost everything when an unexpected fire completely destroyed their home at Great Britain Street on Sunday March 30.
Generous women from WWW donated food, clothes, mattresses, blankets, pots, and even prepared meals for the family of 25 on Thursday April 10.
The family was very happy to receive donations from the generous organisations and people who came to help while they were in need.
Titus Nkos from the family said: “We remain very grateful of the organisation for everything they did for us. They really helped us and we would also like to thank the COURIER for their efforts to help.”
Phumelele Mazi from WWW worked hard to ensured that WWW got hold of the family so that they could arrange time for everyone to be at the house when they came around with donations.
“Women with Wisdom would like to thank Mr and Mrs Nebo, Mrs Mpho Onaga, Somikazi Telela for their support and for being our friends and partners,” said Mazi.
Women With Wisdom is an organisation formed by a group of women who meet and discuss social problems in their communities. They do home, hospital, and charity visits and help where they can.
