Locals enjoy the SA Podcast & Music Festival

A diverse mix of creatives gathered at Emperors Palace’s Red Roman Shed for the inaugural SA Podcast & Music Festival. The fest celebrated the power of conversation and creativity.

Among the exhibitors who took the opportunity to gain visibility for their brands, network, collaborate, educate, inspire and gain leads were the team from SAUMA HD Radio comprising of station manager Tebogo Letsoalo of Rosettenville and presenters Birdie Ndinisa and Brown Magic.

The event saw a host of seasoned podcasters like Gareth Cliff and Ashraf Garda, stalwarts of the music industry like DJ Sbu and Antos Stella among the presenters, and budding musicians and emerging creative entrepreneurs of all ages and backgrounds.

Among the panellists who gave feedback to the budding artists after their performances were Alberton’s Pule Mokoa of The Music Arena and Afro-pop artist Nkosinathi Majola (aka Nkosinutty).

A guest who also took the opportunity to interact with the seasoned creatives was Regents Park musician Charlie Love One.
