Learners honoured at St Martin’s School awards

The achievements of these young ladies is a product of their commitment and they were recognized for it.

St Martin’s School congratulated two Form Five students for making school history.

The senior honours and triple crown are the school’s most prestigious awards. These awards require a student to show a huge amount of resilience and commitment.

Senior honours, either in sports, academics or cultural activities, are awarded to a student who has received full colours in that discipline for four consecutive years, spanning from Form One to Form Four.

The triple crown is awarded to a student who achieved full colours in academics, sports and cultural activities, all within the same year. This year, for the first time, recipients of the Triple Crown were awarded white blazers for their achievements.

The school would like to congratulate the current head of school, Gaby Mthethwa for receiving the triple crown award, as well as Allanah White, who not only received the triple crown but also senior honours for cultural activities.

These two young ladies received standing ovations at St Martin’s recent honours function for their achievements.
