Help is on the way through Mend a Broken Soul

Youth are welcome to seek help from Nhlaluko.

Nhlaluko Mlaba believes she can help a lot of youth who are in the ‘dark’, through her organisation Mend a Broken Soul.

“I help souls that are left in the dark, alone. I understand the pain of being left alone in the dark, seeking help. My organisation is based on mental health issues as I believe to become physically alive your mental health has to be at ease.

“We are here to help those dealing with depression, gender-based violence, bipolar, past trauma, traumatic episodes, anxiety, and massive depression disorder. If I could change my life, surely yours too can change with our help.

“Having experience with certain things makes it easier to deal with such situations if you ever encounter them in life. I can attest to all that I listed excluding bipolar. I am willing to help all those in need of help with this organisation and my biggest goal is to help as many people as possible, especially the youth. My story is a clear elaboration that pain does not last forever,” she said.

She also mentioned that she is a rare breed, rare like a Eureka diamond.

“I have seen it all, heard it all, faced it all at a young age, yet again I rise like the queen. I am imbokodo, the rock, and people must know that the reflection of pain does not kill but changes one’s perspective in life. A Tsonga saying: ‘Kula n’wananga uta swi vona’ (grow my child you will see) is what I lived by and I faced it all alone, in the dark,” noted Nhlaluko.
