Seniors enjoy the Village Spring Heritage Concert

Seniors and community members were recently treated to loads of fun and tasty treats at Reuven Retirement Village.

As September came to a close, Reuven Retirement Village Spring Heritage Concert was hosted by Christian Revival Centre Lenasia, on September 25, in Turffontein.

The seniors were invited to an afternoon of entertainment with outstanding songs and music by Pastor Bradley Ramasamy and the CRC Band. Mouth-watering treats were prepared by Food for Life and distributed by India Cares as the day proceeded packed with numerous performances.

Seniors and community members were taken back with songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s, which got them clapping and dancing along.

Team Dance for Jesus SA, run and coordinated by Serena Reddy Melo, presented a spectacular performance in arts and dance keeping the attendees amused and in amazement.

Organisers thanked Christine Crossley and her team from Meals on Wheels and Caregivers SA for making the day a success and blissful for retirees.
