Ryan Mutinzi murder case laid over again

The Johannesburg Magistrate's Court will continue Ryan's murder trial until October 12.

The Mutinzi family attended yet another court proceeding of the late Ryan Mutinzi’s (6) murder case on September 28.

Ryan’s murder suspects made appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.

Desiree and Lungile Ndebele were detained on April 27 after the Booysens Serious and Violent Crimes Unit investigated information regarding Ryan’s condition when he was found wandering in Bellavista.

According to the medical data presented to the court, the child’s death was caused in part by malnutrition, poor oral hygiene and dehydration.

The medical investigation also found that a hazardous chemical, causing burns and other skin injuries, had been administered to his body.

The case was postponed to October 12 and the suspects are still detained.

It was postponed because of waiting for court assessors.
