Local takes charge of her destiny

The pandemic didn't deterred Desirae on her mission to help others.

After being retrenched from a very well-paying job two days after the first lockdown, the effect was devastating for Desirae Francisco from Forest Hill.

For 18 months she searched for jobs like so many other people in the community and country. Ultimately, she decided to start her own business, using her qualifications and extensive experience in the human resource management industry.

“I thought long and hard about what I wanted out of my career and life in general, I decided to combine the passion I have for my career together with my love for uplifting and empowering people, which I have been doing for the past six years in my personal capacity. This is how Dynamic HRM Solutions was born. I can now give back in my professional capacity as well,” said Francisco.

She said the business model for Dynamic HRM Solutions has been meticulously designed and moulded specifically for small businesses in and around the communities.

“The cost for a human resource management professional is normally a cost most small businesses cannot afford, yet it is the cornerstone of any business. During this pandemic, all businesses have been affected so severely, their employees more so.

“We take the exorbitant overheads of having an HRM professional away and offer the same top end, hands on services at a minimal and absolutely affordable cost.

“During the pandemic employee morale, job security and overall wellness declined rapidly. This is another valuable service we offer, building businesses from the inside. Employee wellness is imperative to any business thriving.

“We decided to incorporate an incentive structure for our clients to both grow our business and give back to community causes and charities. The incentive can make a huge difference in our communities. It is a long-term support structure and is completely sustainable.

“Dynamic HRM Solutions donates 15% of every contract fee, for every month, for the entire financial year to a cause within our community. We have also opened up a referral fee to the people in our community, offering the same percentage for three months for any successful referral. This allows our community members, business people and other entrepreneurs to uplift and empower each other as well as their employees,” explained Desirae.

They are inviting and encouraging everyone to get on board with their initiative. Their end goal is to be able to upskill and fund qualifications through bursaries that will be awarded to the youth in and around the South of Johannesburg.
