Forest Hill murder case postponed for address verification

The accused has now legal aid representation.

The Forest Hill murder case where Jamillah van Staden was stabbed to death on January 8, was postponed to February 11 in the Johannesburg Regional Magistrate’s Court on January 28.

The court needs to verify the address of the accused before the bail application.

Outside the court there was a handful of supporters of the deceased family, picketing, and asking for ‘justice for Jamillah’.

Also in attendance was Zainab Abraham, the mother of the murdered Jamillah van Staden.
