Johannesburg South Garden Club meetings and Autum Flower Show

SOUTH OF JOHANNESBURG – On Saturday March 15 at 10:00, guest speaker Jane Griffiths will give a talk on Growing an Edible Garden. The Floral theme is Colour from the Garden.

Guest speaker Rob Jones will be giving an Easter workshop on Tuesday March 25 at 10:00.

Autumen Flower Show 

Johannesburg South Garden Club is holding its annual Autumn Flower Show on Saturday and Sunday March 29 and 30 at Tulip Garden Centre, Rifle Range Road, Haddon from 10:00 to 16:00 each day. The show is an open show not restricted to club members only and members of the public are encouraged to bring along their exhibits.

There will be a small charge for entries. The placement of exhibits will take place on Friday afternoon from 14.00 until 16.00 and Saturday morning until 09.00.

Judging will follow and the show will be open to the public from approximately 11.30.

On Sunday the show will be open from 09.00 to 16.00.   Entrance to the Autumn Flower Show is free. This is a wonderful opportunity to see what can be grown in the South and a chance to meet members of the club and find out what activities the club is involved in. April meetings
On Saturday April 12 at 10:00, guest speaker Beau Young and Dee Hendrix will chat about Owls and their Habitat/ Exotic birds.

The Floral Theme is Contrasts. On Tuesday April 29 enjoy an outing to Kariba Ranch, near Meyerton. Lifts and maps will be organised.
