Moffat View SAPS welcomes a new station commander
The new station commander wants to focus on crime and service delivery.
Moffat View Police Station announced the appointment of the new station commander, Col Andrew Monegi.
Moffat View SAPS communications officer Sgt Solly Matjila said Monegi was appointed on September 13.
“He worked at different police stations in the Johannesburg District. He previously worked at Jeppe Police Station as a station commander.
“Monegi is a well-known officer in and around Johannesburg District. Upon arrival at the station on his short briefing he mentioned that his focus is mainly on crime and service delivery. He is also looking forward to work closely with community,” he said.
