Johannesburg Flying Squad’s successful arrests

Johannesburg Flying Squad communications officer Raymond Sambo appreciates the information given to the police by the community.

Johannesburg Flying Squad members arrested five suspects for different crimes in different areas in Johannesburg and recovered two vehicles from July 16 to 19.

Among the five suspects arrested, four were for possession of car break-in implements and a computer box and one for possession of drugs.

The vehicles recovered were a white Citroen and a white Chev.

Johannesburg Flying Squad communications officer Raymond Sambo said an investigation continues in all cases.

“Working together with the community led to these recoveries. The SAPS appreciates the public for its contribution. It should also be noted that people with any information regarding the vehicles may contact the relevant detective quoting the relevant case number.

“The five suspects appeared in different magistrate’s courts facing charges of possession of car break-in implements, a computer box and possession of drugs,” he said.
