Johannesburg Water says repairs should be completed on Thursday
Affected Joburg South residents to face another day without water as Johannesburg Water's bulk supplier indicates that repairs should be completed on Thursday.
Johannesburg Water South Hills tower and Midrand Reservoirs are still under enormous strain due to the explosion at the Rand Water Palmiet Booster Pumping station on Sunday, July 4.

Rand Water has been able to repair some of the electrical switch gears which have assisted to boost pumping, but it is still not at full capacity.
“Our bulk supplier has indicated that repairs should be completed on Thursday,” said Johannesburg Water in a statement this morning, July 6.
JW has arranged for additional water tankers in the affected areas, a comprehensive list of the position of the tankers and regular updates can be found on their social pages and website.
