According to people in the area, the deceased was last seen two weeks ago.
A passerby picked up a bad smell next to his room and when they open the door he was found in bed.
The City of Johannesburg EMS was alerted about the discovery of the body and attended to the scene.
The cause of death is unknown at this stage, the COURIER is still waiting for the official statement from the authorities.
