WATCH: Public meeting in Rotunda Park

Councillor Mongameli Mnyameni thanked all those who attended the public meeting.

Ward 124 councillor Mongameli Mnyameni held a public meeting in Rotunda Park, Turffontein, on April 24.

Some of the issues discussed were the need for a clinic in the area and sanitary lanes that have been cited as a factor in the high crime rate in the ward.

Joburg Property Company (JPC) and Joburg Development Agency were in attendance.

“The public meeting was progressive and productive. The ANC answered the cry of Ward 124 and we need to look at sanitary lanes where crimes such as rape, robbery, illegal dumping and murder takes place. So I have asked JPC officials to address these problems,” he said.
