Fox Security arrests ATM scammers on the R59
Three suspects were arrested earlier this afternoon by Fox Security on the R59.
According to Elowayne Gouws, Fox Security operational manager, information came through on a WhatsApp group that four suspects believed to be involved in robbing people at ATM’s are traveling on the R59 towards Johannesburg.

“Fox Tactical Units intercepted the vehicle on the R59. The suspects noticed our officers behind them and pulled over. The suspects were detained with assistance from Brackendowns SAPS CPU.”

“The suspects were searched and found to have a large amount of money on them. These suspects are known to bank investigators and are wanted on several case numbers for these types of crime,” he said.

“The suspects will be taken to the police station in the area where the crime was committed,” added Gouws.
