Reaction officers from CPS Security arrested a suspect on June 11 in St Aubyn Street in New Redruth after he tried to stab an employee from a courier company.
“Our reaction units responded to a complaint regarding a male who attempted to stab an employee from a courier company while doing a delivery at residential premises. “The suspect was located and was arrested,” said Tyrone van der Merwe, sales director from CPS Security.
Officers found drug paraphernalia and a knife in his possession.
Alberton SAPS was contacted and the suspect was taken into custody for further investigation.
