Looking back at the year 2013 – February
February came with its own ups and downs, here's a look back at everything that went down.
February
*Glenanda suffers yet more burst water pipes. Burst water pipes are becoming a weekly occurrence in Glenanda, with residents growing more frustrated by the day.
*Southern acting talent in Hollywood. South African drama queen, Letticia Bissondut from Glenvista, now shares her talent with the Hollywood crowd.
*Relief at girls being found. I am so happy that Angelic and Nicole are safe and back with their families.
*Riviere Academy of Dance – SA Champ winners. Riviere Academy of Dance excelled at the South African Champs at the end of 2012.
*Brave woman saves the day. On January 31 about 09:50 Glenvista resident Sarah Wissler of Allen Road, arrived home, not noticing a new silver C Class Merc which was being driven up and down her road.
*Bafana carries SA’s pride. The National Soccer team, Bafana Bafana, made all South African’s proud after they made it through to the quarterfinals.
*Lions will roar at Kings. MTN Golden Lions will for the first time play the Kings on home soil.
