On Monday evening, November 4, Mark Elliot Zuckerberg, Chief Executive Officer of Facebook announced that they have introduced a new company logo after 15 years since they started Facebook.
According to Mark, “Today we’re introducing a new company logo to be clearer about the apps and technologies that come from Facebook.” he said
The Washington Post reported that “Facebook says its new branding communicates ‘clarity and optimism.’ Typograpghy experts say its all about convincing users it can be trusted.”

the new fb logo comes at an interesting time because if you’ve ever listened to f8 (or to press releases) mark REALLY likes to muddle up what is a ‘facebook owned product’ and what is a ‘feature on facebook the blue website’ and the new branding really clarifies that
