“4@War” will take place on November 30 presented by GGP.

SOUTHERN boxing prospect, Ricardo Malajika, would never have dream he would be fighting for yet another title so soon after turning professional after a classy amateur career.

And to top his career at this stage, he has been offered a contract with the Rodney Berman’s Golden Gloves Promotions.

Malajika will climb into the ring to challenger Mnqobi Mkhize for his African Boxing Union regional belt.

Coming from a mammoth win recently against fellow southerner, Layton Gloss, Malajika has improved his career by having five wins which includes two KOs, two TKOs and an unanimous points decision.

“I respect Mnqobi (Mkhize) as a boxer and know he is a hard fighter. This will be a great opportunity for me. We will be ready on the evening,” said Malajika.

His opponent, Mkhize, also boasts a clean sheet with eight wins in as many bouts. He has a record of two KOs, five TKO win and one win on points.

“I am the fighter who fights with fire and will show Ricardo (Malajika) to whom the title belongs,” said Mkhize.

Berman has in addition put together one of the great competitions of this year’s boxing by ensuring the junior middleweight division earns an opportunity to earn big. “We always look where we can find a division to promote boxing, and where stiff opposition is the order of the day,” said Berman

“The middleweight weight division has given us a chance as there are good boxers at the moment thus we came up with “4@WAR”. The two winners will fight each other early in 2020 to determine who will walk away with the top honours.
