WATCH: The Mossie Primary School learners happy about donation of books

On October 10 about 11 boxes full of books were donated to The Mossie Primary School and they appreciated the gesture.

EXCITEMENT ruled the moment when learners from The Mossie Primary School in Forest Hill received books that were donated by the public.

The Southern COURIER/Comaro CHRONICLE/Alberton RECORD, with the help of the public, wanted to make a difference in the community and we asked the public to donate children’s books.

Scores of people heeded the call and a large number of books were donated to us.

On October 10 about 11 boxes full of books were donated to The Mossie Primary School and they appreciated the gesture.

The team who delivered the books; Jerry Nongoti, Sibonelo Mtshali and Mohammed Ramamy.

These books will help them fill their library shelves.

“The Mossie Primary School would like to thank the community of the South for their kind donation of books to our school library. We understand that readers become leaders and we appreciate your investment in our future leaders,” said deputy principal Geraldine Potgieter.

Learners also expressed their gratitude. “Thank you for the books and they will help us with spelling and pronunciation,” noted Tyreez Cloete.

Bahle Diphare said books will definitely give them knowledge.

The Southern COURIER would like to thank Motordeal, 270 Crownwood Road in Ormonde for helping out with the deliveries of the books to the school.
