Emperors Palace spreads love through donation of R1.4-million

FEBRUARY is the month of love and Emperors Palace is spreading a lot of it by donating a staggering R1.4-million to a host of worthy causes thanks to the proceeds raised from the recent Garden of Lights.

Among the charitable organisations to benefit from the East Rand resort and casino’s generosity is the Door of Hope Children’s Mission based in Glenvista, which is one of 20 charities, selected by 20 Emperors Palace employees, to each receive R10 000 as part of the resort’s 20th birthday celebrations.
Apart from the R200 000 given to these 20 charities a further R350 000 each was given to the Peermont Education Trust and the Peermont Children’s Trust, while another R400 000 will be donated to the Reach for a Dream Foundation.
