Get fit and in shape for summer

Listening to music while exercising motivates the young women.

GREATER Club Aerobics keep themselves in shape at Rotunda Park in Turffontein.

The club started in 2013 with the aim to keep young women fit and in good shape. Different workouts are conducted as well as exercises to make the women lose some weight.

Exercises that are done by the club are bodybuilding, cardio and dance lessons. The club is run by Siphiwe Ntombela who assist the women to improve their stamina and fitness.

“I want to see the community of Turffontein active in fitness training because if one does not exercise that is self-sabotage. I used to coach a netball team but as time went by I moved into aerobics. Commitment is valued at this club because most of them are here to lose weight, therefore, they must take this training serious which is what they are doing,” explained Siphiwe.

The club has 140 members and residents are welcome to join them.

The club would like to get more equipment, bicycles, drum belts and other necessities to keep going. For more information, you can contact Siphiwe Ntombela on 074 337 0820.
