There is currently a total shutdown in South Hills since 3am this morning, August 24.
According to Moffat View SAPS, the roads are blocked and there are burning of tyres. The police have cautioned residents to be safe.
Avoid traveling through the South Hills area due to protest action and stoning of vehicles.
Roads affected but not limited to are South Rand Road, Southerklipriversberg Road, North Road and Outspan Road.
