Frances Vorweg learners achieve 90+ at Eisteddfod

Frances Vorwerg learners achieving big

FRANCES Vorwerg School learners competed at the Alberton Eisteddfod in the Individual Recital Item on August 17 and achieved outstanding results.

The school consists of learners who are battling physical challenges, neurological impairments, sensory impairments or Asperger’s syndrome. This year’s recital item was for pre-verbal learners with the school trying to help them develop their speech gradually.

Five learners took part in the item competition and all five achieved 90+ for their heroic efforts.

“First and foremost I want to congratulate the five learners for their tremendous effort, they really did work hard to achieve what they achieved. This will show that our school really cares about learners’ needs,” said Anandi Spies of Frances Vorwerg School.
