Madiba’s 67 minutes started bright and early for two children of Rosettenville

Neighbours admire their unconditional love towards each other and for the neighbours it's no surprise to see them sharing a snack.

ERIC Pitsi (14) from Rosettenville started his tribute to Mandela by sharing a 50 cent snack with a friend in front of a local shop.

The COURIER spotted Eric sharing his snack with Tiyani Ndlovu (11) which is something that is rare to see in this day and age. The duo have been friends since 2012 and since then their friendship has been growing from strength to strength.

They always share what they have with each other and that pleases their parents. If one of them does not have lunch they even share with each other in that regard. Neighbours admire their unconditional love towards each other and for the neighbours it’s no surprise to see them sharing a snack.

Eric said: “I just brought a snack and my friend came to me and I just felt the Madiba magic in me so I shared my snack with him. For me this is the contribution that am also doing for 67 minutes and even on Wednesday I will participate in the 67 minutes.”
