Morgan Radebe is the new principal of Die Fakkel High School

MORGAN Radebe is the new principal of Die Fakkel High School.

He replaced Dr Piet du Preez, who retired at the end of 2015. For more than two years the post for the principal was vacant and the deputy principals had to act.

Morgan was previously the principal of Kenilworth High School. During the welcoming function at the school on April 20, du Preez handed over his blazer and principal tie.

“All stakeholders want to congratulate Mr Radebe. May he enjoy wonderful years of management and leadership at Die Fakkel,” said du Preez.

Du Preez served as a principal at the school since 1998. He started his career as an educator at Hoërskool Alberton in 1975 where he was later Head of Department (HOD) for Afrikaans and deputy principal.
