Charity organisation turns one

Betsie can be contacted on 011 683 0301 or 072 769 4245.

BLOMMEKIND Charity Organisation in Turffontein has turned one on April 4, thanks to support from sponsors.

Founder Betsie Lubbe is happy looking back at a journey she started a year ago at Bellavista Old Age Home.“We help people who are in need of daily basic requirements such as food, clothes, toiletries, etc. and Bellavista Old Age Home was one of the places I went to last year. Since then, the organisation has donated food parcels to Reuven and Glenesk Old Age Homes.

“We are proud to be able to assist people of all races as well as all ages who are in need of support. Again, the support of our sponsors has been wonderful; without them all of this would be in vain. Thank you,” she said.

She also mentioned that the community can contact her for any donations, from food to clothes, and also blankets as winter is approaching.

Betsie can be contacted on 011 683 0301 or 072 769 4245.
