Joubert back at Boxing Explosion

Warren Joubert will be back in the ring after a long lay-off due to an ankle injury, and he will be out to prove his fitness.
Big Top Arena will host another great boxing evening, the Boxing Explosion on Thursday October 31. The tournament will be presented by BRD Boxing Promotions and will feature eight bouts.
The tournament will start at 19:30 at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City.
Joubert and Masterd Mangalaza will top the bill in the junior-welterweight division over eight rounds. Joubert has made an incredible comeback and will take on Mangalaza to prove that he is fit for business in the ring once again. “This is a very important fight for me as I need a win to advance to title opportunities, “said Joubert.
One of the bouts will be a women’s junior-middleweight bout between Essiane Clolide taking on Lilian Molala over six rounds. According to Nick Durandt, trainer of Clolide, “This is the best female boxer that we have and she will prove that on the evening.”
The fight that will fill up the Big Top Arean will be the grudge fight between Jarred Silverman from the South and Stone van Aswegen. A month ago Van Aswegen had to pull out of his fight against Silverman and both boxers are looking forward to this one to settle the scores.
Another prospect on the bill will be the highly rated Dion Coetzee against Jean Lutet.. Gauteng champion from Alberton Dowayne Combrink will fight Danny Mopinga. Combrink will also need a win from this fight as he needs to contest for higher honours.
Most of the other bouts will be boxers from the South.
Promoter Manny Fernandes from BRD Boxing Academy has once again put together an exciting development boxing bill for the evening.
