Change how you look at things

The rate at which you change how you see yourself will determine how well you talk to yourself and this will have an ultimate bearing on who you become.

“Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school.” – Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was really talking about the true meaning of education. That is, learning is not simply the acquisition of knowledge. This simply means that when one really becomes educated – truly educated, not just in possession of a piece of paper, call it a degree, diploma or certificate. I mean someone who has ventured down new avenues of thinking that have left a lasting effect on the person. People who have truly acquired an education will never be the same as that artless, unknowledgeable and shallow person they were before. School here is not just about the physical classroom but life’s lessons also.

Have you ever struggled with the ‘Who am I?’ question or thought about who you might become in the future? Your interpretation of the world determines how much of your true potential you will unleash.

The rate at which you change how you see yourself will determine how well you talk to yourself and this will have an ultimate bearing on who you become. This is when your attitude determines your altitude. Your attitude here is a measure of how high you will fly. The more negative thoughts you dwell on, the closer to the ground you will fly. The more positive thoughts you dwell on, the more energy and determination you will have to fly higher, it’s a simple formula.

It’s not what is happening in the world that holds you back, it’s just your interpretation of it. This is your view of the world. It’s important to know that you can’t change what is happening but the power you have is to change how you look at it, that’s how inventions came about.
