Pikitup service delays

Pikitup hopes to restore all collections by March 3.

PIKITUP, the waste management company of the City of Johannesburg wishes to notify residents whose waste needs are to be collected on February 27, about service delays that will be experienced on the day.

The delay is consequent to a scheduled South African Municipal Workers Union meeting as stipulated in the organisational rights agreement.

Residents whose scheduled refuse collection falls on this day, February 27 are advised to put out their waste for collection on February 28, in the event that their waste is not collected on the scheduled day.

This service interruption will have a ripple effect and might also affect collection rounds on February 28, March 1 and 2. Pikitup hopes to restore all collections by March 3.
