Resilience Gymnastics success

Six members of the Resilience Gymnastc club did very well

SIX of Resilience Gymnastics Artistic Gymnasts recently took part in friendly, Regionals, Inter-Provincial and South African Nationals competitions with great results.

The girls Lejodian Smith and Donelle Maccario (level 4) and Kaylin Neervoort (level 5) all qualified for the South African Games which were held during the school holidays in Pretoria .

The boys Gomolemo Morodi, Connor Dell and Quintin d’Hotman de Villiers (level 4) walked away with overall medals at a friendly held in Kempton Park. All three boys took part in Central Gauteng trials and qualified for the Inter-Provincials. Quintin qualified for Nationals,with Connor and Gomolemo just missing the required qualification mark.

All six gymnasts will be awarded full provincial colours for their achievements.

The club is proud of them and would like to thank the gymnasts and their coach Roxanne van Herwaarde for all their dedication to the sport.

Resilience Gymnastics club also offers Rhythmic Gymnastics on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The club urgently requires qualified coaches or ex-gymnasts who would like to become involved in coaching as from January 2014 for the Saturday classes.
