Drug dealer arrested in Turffontein

A large amount of drugs was found and the unknown male was arrested for dealing in drugs and taken to Booysens Police Station.

A LARGE amount of drugs was found on premises in Turffontein and a male suspect was arrested for dealing in drugs on October 31.

At about 1.30pm members from the JMPD K9 unit, Officer Itumeleng Radebe and Officer Raymond Zwane, were on crime prevention duty in the Turffontein area. They received a complaint about a missing person and then proceeded to the given address to search the premises. WO Carel Schwarz and Officer Billal Beukes from Booysens SAPS also went to assist.

Once the members arrived at the scene they found an unknown male. They introduced themselves to him and explained their reason for being there. The members requested permission to enter the premises and began searching.

A large amount of drugs was found. The male was arrested for dealing in drugs and taken to the Booysens Police Station.
