VIDEO: Security Experts gave annual donation to Thembalethu Primary

"I will continue donate to them to sow God’s seed and express our undying gratitude."

SECURITY Experts, an Alberton-based organisation, visited Thembalethu Primary School, Katlehong on the morning of October 14 to hand over donations to them.

Security Experts is a customer-orientated family business situated in Alrode-South that sells, installs and repairs all types of security products. This organisation, established by Hermanus van Niekerk, has been serving residents and businesses in and around Johannesburg since January 2008.

The van Niekerk family donated R30 000 and four notebooks valued at R8 200 each to the school.

Needless to say, the school was elated over this gift and everyone gave a big, hearty applause. A few girls even joined together to sing in joy.

CHEQUE HANDOVER: Hermanus van Niekerk hands over a cheque to the school. Next to him from the left is principal Phillip Mayisela, Mrs Magasela and Mr Radebe.

This is not the first time Security Experts has donated to this school and according to Hermanus, this will not be the last time either. He shares the reason why.

“A few years ago, I had lost everything when the business I was working for at that time, went sour. Eventually, for some inexplicable reason, my path crossed with Thembalethu Primary and they gave me a very generous helping hand when they offered me a job – they asked me to install a new gate for the school.

“They paid me so generously, it brought me to sheer confusion … but it saved me. I bought a new car at a very low price and had enough money to kickstart Security Experts. It was God’s plan and His miracle. Thembalethu Primary was His tool to bless me, my family and our business. I will continue donating to them to sow God’s seed and express our undying gratitude,” said Hermanus.
