A defenceless 4-year-old baby girl was raped at Turffontein, On Friday, 20 October, by a 21-year-old perpetrator. In less than 24 hours the perpetrator was found with the effort of the Booysens Community Police Forum, the community members as well as the Booysens SAPS.

The perpetrator will appear at the Johannesburg Magistrate Court, today Monday October 23. The court case has been remanded to October 30.
Ward 55 Councillor Rashieda Landis has been offering support to the victim’s family since the beginning of this tragic ordeal. Councillor Landis is urging community members, the media and everyone available to come in their numbers to the Westgate court in support of the family.
