Donations needed for volunteer firefighter

The bunker gear will cost in the region of R20 000 and will be supplied from SA Emergency Care after any donations are paid into their bank account.

DEAN Myburgh, Marketing Manager at The Glen Shopping Centre, was one of the volunteer fire fighters who flew down to Knysna to assist with fighting the fires in June this year with a group called The Knysna Volunteers.

At the time Dean was sponsored firefighting gear, known as bunker gear, by SA Emergency Care but with the high possibility of volunteering again as a firefighter, it will be in Dean’s best interest to have his own bunker gear.

The Knysna Volunteers will make themselves available to assist with firefighting at any given time, anywhere in the country.

If you are a compassionate corporate or an individual with a heart, please help by contributing towards Dean’s bunker gear.

The bunker gear will cost in the region of R20 000 and will be supplied from SA Emergency Care after any donations are paid into their bank account, Standard Bank, Branch code 012442, account number 420661298. For payment reference please use the name, Dean Myburgh.
