KEMPTON PARK – The Mrs South Africa produced one of the most glamorous and glittering events of the year.
Mrs South Africa pageant took place on October 5 at the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace and the pageant’s official host said that it surpassed even the highest expectations.
The newly crowned Mrs South Africa is Chané de Kock who will be representing her country in 2014 in China. De Kock is from Cape Town.
Runners up to the title were selected as Chantelle Swart from Pretoria as first Princess and Kholofelo Chademanah from Bryanston Johannesburg was crowned as second Princess.
A spectacular production, drawing on inspiration from 22 of the country’s most glamorous married women, delivered a powerful celebration of feminine beauty and intelligence.
Altogether 22 finalists, who represented their country and their home towns proudly, are inspirational, married women who are dedicated to creating sound environments for their family’s and devoted to the up-lifting of their communities and South Africa.
The evening concluded a three day Pageant Week activities at the venue which started on Wednesday October 2. Photo shoots, media interviews and more ended in a glamorous Grand Finale.
“The standard was incredibly high and the entire event was a magnificent success and most importantly, we have a new Mrs South Africa. She is extremely deserving of the title and we take great pride in announcing that Mrs South Africa 2014 is Chané de Kock from Cape Town. We wish you all the success with your reign,” said Joani Johnson, Director of the Mrs South Africa Pageant.
Mrs South Africa 2014 Chané de Kock (28) from Stellenbosch in the Cape is a married mom of three children and practices as a health consultant.
Chané walks away with a prize package valued at over R600 000, including a new Cabrio DS3 from Citroen South Africa and Citroen Hatfield, treatments from The Laser Beautique valued at over R20 000, Veaudry hair tools and styling for the year. D’Orē fashion will dress Mrs South Africa 2014 during her year of reign to make sure she is always impeccably presented when attending to her duties as a South African ambassador.
The Mrs South Africa pageant, along with host Emperors Palace and sponsors Citroen, D’Orē , The Laser Beautique and Veaudry International, congratulated these three incredible women, as well as all the finalists who took part in this auspicious affair.
