Circle of Friends celebrate a birthday with The Bag Lady

“I’m not used to being on this side of the limelight,” said Julie. “Thank you all for this wonderful surprise, I really appreciate it. Especially to Glynis MacPherson, who hosted the party and went out of her way to make everything perfect!”

MEMBERS of the women’s group, Circle of Friends, surprised news editor of the Comaro Chronicle newspaper, Julie Maule (aka The Bag Lady) with a cake, decorations and a gift hamper in celebration of her birthday.

“I’m not used to being on this side of the limelight,” said Julie. “Thank you all for this wonderful surprise, I really appreciate it. Especially to Glynis MacPherson, who hosted the party and went out of her way to make everything perfect!”

WONDERFUL MORNING: A cake, hamper, flowers and decorations made the morning extra special.

The group also held a quiz where each member had to answer questions about famous people and celebrities. As the answers were given, amid much laughter, the two winners each received a small gift. The group will meet again in June.
