Day of Champions at Turffontein

The final leg and third leg of the Triple Crown will take place on May 6

THE final leg and third leg of the Triple Crown will take place on May 6 at Turffontein.

The racing fraternity will line up for Champions Day – also known as Intercontinental Village Day – where the communities of the Southern Suburbs get the chance to display their different cultures.

The races involved are the R4-million Premier’s Champion Challenge over 2 000m, the R2-million South African Derby over 2 450m, the third leg of the Triple Crown and the Computaform Sprint over 1 000m.

The Ferrari Club will be in attendance with a display of its vehicles on the ground floor. Race-goers will have the chance to win a ride around the track, with one lucky person set to win a VIP experience at the SEFAC Ferrari Day at Kyalami in September.

Tickets for Champions Day, featuring the Intercontinental Village, start at R30 and include a voucher. Tickets are R20 for u-18s, which includes a goodie bag. Tickets are on sale now at Webtickets.
