A CUSTOMER was allegedly robbed at Builders Warehouse, on March 14, by three men.
The suspects, who were armed with two handguns and drove a white BMW five series, held up a customer in the parking area.
A Massmart spokesperson confirmed that a customer was confronted by three perpetrators in a white BMW in the parking area of one of their stores and, during the incident, robbed of a wrist watch and wallet.
“We are horrified that this happened and have provided the customer with the necessary support. This is an isolated occurrence. We have not had any incidents at our stores over the past year but we have initiated a review of security at our stores nationwide,” read the statement.
