Suspected business robbers caught with equipment

Booysens SAPS are proud the police busted the suspects in the middle of their criminal act.

THREE suspects were caught by patrolling security officers who noticed them fiddling with the fence of a substation at the corner of Harry Malplaquet Street in Robertsham on Sunday, March 5, around 02:00 in the morning.

The security officers called for backup and even members of the community rushed to the scene to help arrest the suspects.

The suspects had parked their vehicle near the substation and had cutters in their hands.

The three suspects, aged 23, 27 and 31, were arrested and charged for possession of housebreaking implements and business breaking.

Sgt Edward Rangwanasha is investigating.
