SAPW celebrates 10 years
The event is called "Home of Hardcore" and will feature five hardcore-style matches, the first wrestling event of its kind in South Africa.
SOUTH African Pro Wrestling (SAPW) is celebrating 10 years of existence with an epic event.
The show will start at 18:30 (gates open at 18:00) on March 4 at the Brakpan Indoor Sport Centre (Bedford Street).
The event is called “Home of Hardcore” and will feature five hardcore-style matches, the first wrestling event of its kind in South Africa.
Brakpan wrestler and current hardcore champion, The Jackal, will have his hands full as he takes on rival wrestler, Hector Payne, for the SAPW Hardcore championship in a barbwire match. where the ring ropes will be covered in barbed wire. This will be the second time that a barbwire match will take place in South African wrestling history.
SAPW heavyweight champion, The Crow, will take on Harliquinn, for the title in a traditional SAPW hardcore match to settle old scores between them.
Other wrestlers featuring in the card include Griffin, Big Fire and Cowboy, and from HWA (Honour Wrestling Association) Steve Eden and The Ripper, and from XWE (Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment) Monré Lee and Warlock.
