TWO JMPD officers, Sergeant Elijah Twala and Sergeant Mohau Mathebula, reacted swiftly to a tip-off and arrested two men who were packing dagga in a back room in Vickers Road, Rosettenville, on Thursday, January 26.

The officers called in the K9 unit to rush to the scene with narcotics dogs, which led to the arrests of the two suspects after the hidden black plastic bags containing dagga and glass pipes used to smoke the drugs were discovered.

The suspects revealed that they were working for somebody, but refused to disclosed the name of the person.

The drugs are worth R10 000.
