BOOYSENS SAPS is proud to announce the arrest of a suspected hijacker who was caught while fixing a Mercedes-Benz in Bellavista on Thursday, January 5, around 12:00.
Cst Justice Mthembu and Cst Magic Mtombela from the Johannesburg Technical Response Team received information about a possible stolen vehicle while they were busy doing patrols. They reacted swiftly to make an arrest after identifying the vehicle as one that was reportedly hijacked in Jeppe in December.
On the property the officers also found an Opel Corsa that was reported to have been hijacked in Ivory Park during the last festive season.
