HIV testing now offered at Rosettenville Clinic

The clinic is now able to screen members of the community for HIV and AIDS.

ON December 14, 2016, the Rosettenville Clinic launched a broader spectrum of services to the community.

The Anova Health Institute, together with the city’s health department, the clinic staff and ward 56 councillor Michael Crichton, announced that the clinic is now able to screen members of the community for HIV and AIDS and the staff are also now better trained and equipped to deal with patients.

Members of the public were invited to take advantage of the new screenings and other services after the launch ceremony.

Crichton thanked the Anova Health Institute for launching the new initiative. “It’s very important that the clinic is able to cater for all sectors of our community. It is also important for people to know their HIV status, and know that it will be kept confidential and that they don’t have to reveal their status to anyone,” said Crichton.

He thanked the clinic for the fantastic services it offers the community.
