One has to find one’s ultimate purpose in life

Are you just interested or are you fully committed to it?

“The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavour.” – Vince Lombardi

There’s a huge difference between interest and commitment. When you’re interested in doing something, you do it only when it’s convenient. When you are committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results. When you’re committed to do something, only death can stop you from doing it.

Total commitment is the only common denominator among all successful men and women. Men and women of substance have proven to the world over and over again, that human life cannot be catalogued; that it’s boundless and limitless. So without commitment, you can’t have any depth in anything – whether it’s a relationship, a business or a hobby. I therefore, can safely say that a man wasn’t born just to do a job, but to live his purpose – because living his purpose will make him a living.

Joshua Harris said: “When God knows you’re ready for the responsibility of commitment, He’ll reveal the right person under the right circumstances.” Commitment is staying loyal to what you said you were going to do, long after the mood you said it in, has left you.

Commitment comes after you’ve identified that one thing that you’ll do to serve the world – yes, to make the world a better place than you found it. The main focus should be identifying that one thing because without it, your life will be empty – you’ll follow the crowd instead. So commitment is about you.

So, how are you living your life? Are you just interested, or are you fully committed to it? Check your results and the answer will be right there!
