Familly fun day at Rietvlei Farm
There will lots of activity throughout the day including food and drinks stalls, market stalls, pony rides, tractor rides, carnival rides, dance shows and a Dukes Dog Academy Agility Show.
BRACKENHURST: A CANSA Fun Walk/Run Fundraising, Awareness and Celebration Event will be taking place on Saturday October 5 at Rietvlei Zoo Farm situated on Swartkoppies Road between Mulbarton and Alberton, south of Johannesburg.
This Family and Fun Event is aimed at bringing people together to fight the fight against Cancer. The day starts off with a fun 4km or 8km loop Walk/Run inside the Farm hosted by Joburg Harriers Athletic Club volunteers. Cost is R10 and the money goes to CANSA. Everyone is encouraged to dress in pink with hats and wigs. Starts at 08.30 and registration opens from 07.30.
There will be a pink helium balloon celebration at 10:00 for those wanting to celebrate their survival of cancer and for those wanting to remember those lost to cancer. Helium Balloons will be on sale for R20 per person.
The rest of the day, families are invited to stay or come along and enjoy a braai or picnic with your family or friends for this CANSA Fun Day. The normal farm entrance fees will be apply: R30 per adult, R20 per child under age 12 and R10 for pensioners, however R5 per entrant will go to CANSA.
