Rosettenville furniture shop allegedly robbed

Two suspects jumped over the counter and ordered the suspects to open the till before fleeing the scene with cash.

ACCORDING to Booysens SAPS, Rosettenville OK Furniture store was robbed by two suspects at gunpoint on Friday, September 16.

However the security officer at the OK Furniture store said there was no robbery at the store on Friday and suggested it could be the OK grocery shop that sells food, a couple of meters away, that was robbed.

However, the manager at the OK grocery shop said it was not their store that was robbed.

According to the police, the robbery occurred at 19:15 as one of the two suspects jumped over the counter and ordered the woman who was helping a customer pay for goods to open her till.

Booysens SAPS reported that the cashier was unable to do so and then the suspects instructed her supervisor to open the till. After taking the money they fled the scene.
