In a world where 350 million new photos are posted on Facebook daily, thousands if not millions of photographers across the globe inspire humans as they share a single photo with the sole desire to share their view with the world.
From everyday life to incredible landscapes, the global gallery is an evolving mosaic of images captured by photographers of all skills levels living in a diverse range of countries and cultures. Photography Day can be your platform, be it with your simple Samsung S6 or Canon EOS 1200D, the possibilities of photography are endless.
According to Google, Johann Zahn designed the first camera in 1685. But the first photograph was clicked by Joseph Nicephore Niepce in the year 1814. It was thousands of years back that an Iraqi scientist Ibn- al- Haytham made a mention of this kind of a device in his book, Book of Optics in 1021.
