East Rand Wedding Show a great success

This was definitely the event of the year.

BRIDES and grooms-to-be were the main focus at the third annual East Rand Wedding Show which took place in the Centre Court at Emperors Palace from July 30 and 31.

This year’s wedding expo featured more than 140 of Gauteng’s leading wedding professionals who showcased the latest in wedding trends and fashions. Wedding-related products and service professionals, including fashion designers, caterers, photographers, invitation makers and florists offered great deals, tips and wedding advice. Regardless of the type of wedding being planned, there was something for everyone.

“The East Rand Wedding Show is aimed at creating a platform that really helps future brides and grooms navigate through everything and anything they are going to need to plan their wedding and to start their new lives together,” says Laura Hanc, managing director and show producer.

“It’s a social event that has a tremendous feel of anticipation, excitement and fun. Having the best suppliers in the industry all under one roof will assist couples with planning one of the most special days of their lives,” Hanc says.

Carlo Charles Harris and Candice Abrahams were the presenters at the fashion shows. The expo has become synonymous with its amazing prize giveaways and this year was no different.

In addition to the exhibition, top bridal fashion from leading bridal boutiques and menswear shops was featured in live runway fashion shows on both days. Women went crazy not only for the dresses, but also for the handsome men in the tuxedos.
