JSPCA gets help

Jolene Beyleveld from JSPCA said an amazing amount of R20 050.80 was raised.

THE Grade Threes of Glenanda Primary School hold an annual cake and candy sale to raise money for a particular charity, and this year a unanimous decision was made to support their furry friends at the Johannesburg SPCA.

In anticipation of the recent sale, delectable eats were made by the children, their parents and even grandparents. Great excitement was felt as the day drew closer, knowing just what delicious tantalising edibles were going to be available to purchase.

Moms, dad, grans and grandpas also took time out of their busy schedules to come and support this worthwhile charity event by enthusiastically setting up and displaying an array of yummy treats. The task of selling all this to very eager buyers took place during break time.

Jolene Beyleveld from JSPCA said an amazing amount of R20 050.80 was raised by the sale. “We are truly humbled and thankful to the Glenanda family for making the Grade Three cake and candy sale such a success.

“We thank everyone who contributed to this event, touching lives and making a tangible difference to our furry and feathered friends at the JSPCA,” she said.

Educators in Grade Three are Ms T McKenzie, Ms C Moore, Ms D Stegmann, Ms P Naidoo, Ms A Paixao and Ms S House.
